The idea was excellent ; recreate the legendary 480 from the 80’s and beat the VW GTi at its own game. Unfortunately, although being a looker, it was more a of luxo-cruiser than a proper hot hatch.

Jaguar Jumping in the retrocar bandwagon was just a bad idea. Real Jags are aging with grace while the S-type are gross and look like old Kia Aamanti.
